Rangers and Celtic will meet for the final Old Firm game of the season on Sunday.

Barry Ferguson has admitted that he would need ‘five minutes’ if he was asked to give Celtic a guard of honour as a Rangers captain.
Neil Lennon’s side were crowned Scottish Premiership champions last Saturday when they beat Aberdeen and now they will face their Old Firm rivals at Ibrox this Sunday.
There has been a lot of talk about whether the Light Blues should give their bitter rivals a guard of honour in regards to them winning the title for the eighth season running.
Speaking to PLZ Soccer’s official YouTube account, former Rangers man Ferguson shared his thoughts on whether a guard of honour should be given to the Bhoys.
“Honestly, I believe if you ask a Celtic player I don’t think there were would be any concern if they do one or don’t do one,” Ferguson told PLZ Soccer. “I don’t think it’ll matter one bit.
On whether he’d like to see it happen: “Would I? You’re putting me on the spot here. That’s the decision they need to sit down and the players make that decision. What do you feel? Does it cause any fights or arguments in the stadium? Look if it happens, it happens. I wouldn’t have a problem with it if it happens. I wouldn’t have a problem if it does happen.
If he was captain and was asked about giving a guard of honour: “Just give me five minutes, I’m going to ask the rest of the squad,” Ferguson chuckled.

Given the rivalry between both clubs, it would be a shock to see Rangers give Celtic a guard of honour, especially in front of their own supporters.
The last time the two teams met at Parkhead it was a hostile atmosphere and game, with two sending offs and a number of flashpoints throughout.
That just indicated the type of game this is and giving a guard of honour might just fuel a more hostile encounter further, not forgetting that some or even most Gers supporters may night like the idea of giving the guard of honour.
