Glasgow Rangers midfielder Joey Barton is serving a suspension at the moment.

Barry Ferguson has suggested in The Daily Record that Joey Barton should ask Rangers manager Mark Warburton for forgiveness.
Barton, who joined Rangers in the summer transfer window after leaving English club Burnley at the end of the 2015-16 season, is serving a three-week suspension at the moment.
The former Newcastle United midfielder was suspended by the Scottish Premiership club following a training ground bust-up with Rangers teammate Andy Halliday, as he himself told talkSPORT.
The 34-year-old is expected to return to the Gers on Monday, as reported by The Daily Record, and Ferguson has advised Barton to apologise to manager Warburton.

“On Monday morning Joey will walk back through those doors to discover his own fate,” former Rangers midfielder Ferguson wrote in The Daily Record.
“And my only hope is that he comes back from his suspension and recovers in a way I knew I never would.
“If I could offer him any advice it would be to plead for Mark Warburton’s forgiveness because if he can’t talk his way out of this then he’ll have to live with the regret for the rest of his life.”

Barton is a very good midfielder and was one of the best players in the Championship in England for Burnley during the 2015-16 campaign.
The former Manchester City midfielder has failed to make a huge impact at Ibrox so far this season.
It would be best for both Rangers and Barton if the situation is resolved next week so that everyone can move on.
Rangers are fifth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 12 points from eight matches, seven points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have a game in hand.
