Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are unbeaten under Pedro Caixinha’s stewardship so far.

Barry Ferguson has told the Daily Record that Glasgow Rangers are very lucky to have Kenny Miller available to them.

Miller was left out of Rangers’ starting line-up for their match against Kilmarnock in midweek, but did not sulk about his omission.

Instead, the 37-year-old came off the substitutes’ bench, and put in a good display.

Although Miller was unable to help Rangers pick up the three points, with the match finishing as a 0-0 draw, he still had a big impact on the contest.

And Ferguson said: “Kenny Miller, as always, added the kind of energy and drive that you expect from a Rangers player when he came on at half time. And he’s exactly the kind of guy that you’d want with you in the trenches at a place like Pittodrie.

“I’m sure the manager appreciates that already. He’s lucky to have a leader like Kenny in his dressing room.”

Miller’s future at Rangers is currently up in the air, so Pedro Caixinha may not be fortunate enough to have the forward around next campaign.

Miller has just months remaining on his current deal at Ibrox, and no new offer has presented by Rangers.

Miller has suggested that he wants to stay with Rangers, but he may not get his wish.

Miller could come back into Rangers’ starting line-up for their match against Aberdeen next weekend.
