Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent is enjoying a successful spell at Rangers in the Scottish Premiership this season.

Barry Ferguson has opted to pick Queen of the South striker Stephen Dobbie over Rangers’ on-loan Liverpool winger Ryan Kent in his Player of the Year shortlist.
The former Gers player stated that Dobbie’s ‘unbelievable’ scoring season is the reason behind why he gets picked, with the 36-year-old in a rich vein of form in the Scottish Championship.
The veteran forward has played 41 games in all competitions this season and has scored 40 goals for his relegation-threatened side [transfermarkt].
Speaking to PLZ Soccer’s official YouTube account (22/04/2019), admitted that he simply couldn’t leave Dobbie out of his POTY shortlist.
“I was going to put Ryan Kent in but this guy [Steven Dobbie], Queen of the South what would they do without him?” Ferguson asked on PLZ Soccer. “39 goals this season, unbelievable!
“I don’t care what league you are in, to score 39 goals, he runs Queen of the South.”

There is no doubt that Kent has been one of Rangers’ outstanding talents this season and Steven Gerrard will be hoping to keep him at the club for the following campaign.
The Liverpool player will have ambitions of playing for his boyhood club and if he is unable to do that then he will want to prove his worth in the Premier League.
Over the course of the season, Kent has played 39 games in all competitions for his side, scoring six goals and supplying his teammates with nine assists [transfermarkt].
