Rangers face St. Johnstone at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers legend Barry Ferguson has told Betsafe that he expects his old side to earn a fifth consecutive victory against St. Johnstone on Saturday afternoon at Ibrox.
The Gers are on a superb run of form under caretaker manager Graeme Murty, taking all 12 points from a possible 12 with back-to-back wins over Aberdeen, as well as victories against Ross County and Hibernian.
Now, the Light Blues are expected to beat a St. Johnstone side that have lost seven of their last 10 outings, with one of those defeats being a 3-0 loss to Rangers back in October which saw Mexican Carlos Pena score a brace.

Speaking ahead of the match, former Rangers captain Ferguson claimed Murty’s side were nowhere near their best against Neil Lennon’s Hibernian last time out but commended them for their win, and expects three points on Saturday.
“A great result at Easter Road,” Ferguson said. “Obvuiously Hibs performed well against Celtic at the weekend, it made me a bit worried about Rangers going to Easter Road. The performance wasn’t great, I thought Hibs dominated the game.
“But fairplay to Rangers, they showed their steel and determination – something that has been missing over the last year. I think Rangers will beat a St. Johnstone team that has been struggling of late.”

Rangers will be without Graham Dorrans, who has undergone an operation to correct an ankle injury which will keep him sidelined for another three months. Kenny Miller is also expected to miss the match, after picking up a hamstring injury.
The Gers have won five of their last six matches against St. Johnstone, and three points would see the Gers move to within two points of league leaders and bitter rivals Celtic with the Hoops playing Hearts on Sunday.
