Alfredo Morelos has scored 30 goals this season for Rangers in all competitions.

Barry Ferguson has admitted that it looks like Alfredo Morelos will leave Rangers in the summer as believes the club have to ‘seriously’ consider selling him if an offer were to come in for his services.
The 22-year-old started and scored for Rangers over the weekend as Steven Gerrard’s side were beaten 2-1 by Kilmarnock on the last day of the Premiership campaign.
In recent weeks, or ever since returning from suspension, Morelos has watched on from the bench as Jermain Defoe has made the forward role his own.
Speaking to PLZ Soccer’s official YouTube account (20/05/2019), Ferguson admitted that he can see Morelos parting ways with Ibrox club this summer.
“It’s good for him [scoring on the last day of the season],” Ferguson told PLZ Soccer. “He would have been frustrated because he’s been out of the team. But that’s down to Defoe being in very good form.
“Great to get to 30 goals. He’s had a good season. Whether he’s going to be there next season or not, we don’t know. But 30 goals, the only thing you could label against him is obviously his sending-offs. But overall, a good season for him.
On whether he’ll go: “It looks that way to me. If Rangers get a decent offer in, they have got to seriously consider it if it’s around the £8 million mark – if you’re asking me I don’t think he’ll be [at Rangers next season].”

Throughout the course of the season, Morelos has been a bit of a mixed bag for Steven Gerrard, the club and its supporters.
At times, he would dazzle one and all by constantly finding the back of the net and being a threat up front. But then his discipline issues will let him down, not just once, but on a number of occasions.
It remains to be seen if the highly-rated youngster is still at Rangers when the new season kicks off, but the form of Defoe towards the back end of the campaign will bode well for the supporters that they still have a goal threat up top even if their star man isn’t here next term.
