Rangers must win at Hamilton this evening, according to Barry Ferguson.

Former Rangers hero Barry Ferguson has told BBC Sport that he thinks Rangers must beat Hamilton Academical after losing to Celtic last week.
Rangers lost 2-0 in the first Old Firm derby of the season last Saturday afternoon, with Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths finding the net in a comfortable win for the Bhoys at Ibrox.
The Gers may have backed manager Pedro Caixinha with a host of new signings over the summer, including starters such as Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Graham Dorrans, Daniel Candeias and Alfredo Morelos, but it made little difference last week.

Caixinha saw his side come up well short of Brendan Rodgers’ men, and reports suggest that the Rangers boss was far from happy in the aftermath of the defeat.
The Scottish Sun reported earlier this week that Caixinha held a crunch meeting with his players to demand more togetherness after another Old Firm defeat, laying down the gauntlet to his own players.
If true, then Caixinha desperately needs a result tonight, as he takes his Rangers side to New Douglas Park to take on Hamilton Academical.
Ahead of tonight’s game, former Rangers hero Barry Ferguson has offered his view on the match, telling BBC Sport that he thinks Rangers must win the game after disappointing their fans so much last weekend.

Ferguson feels that Caixinha needs a reaction after the alleged meeting with his players, and wants to see the players respond with a strong performance against Hamilton – though he did acknowledge that it’s a tricky away game.
“It’s simple – they need to win the game. That’s all I can say, after last week’s disappointing performance,” said Ferguson. “He’s had his meeting [with the squad]. Let’s see if the players are up for getting a result at New Douglas Park.”
“I don’t think Rangers got anywhere near Celtic. Maybe the last 15 minutes of the first half was OK but after that Celtic were in complete control. Celtic strolled it. They were comfy. Lay a glove, go and get a reaction, at least get the fans on your side. For me, he needs to go and get three points at New Douglas Park, which is difficult because Hamilton are decent on their home patch,” he added.
