Sheyi Ojo has joined Steven Gerrard at Rangers on loan from Liverpool.
Sheyi Ojo of Rangers
Rangers have signed Ojo on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old winger has already shown what he is capable of in a Rangers shirt, and former Gers midfielder Ferguson has been impressed.
Ferguson wrote about Ojo in The Daily Record: “Ojo has huge potential and I believe he’s gone to the perfect place to help him fulfil it because playing for Rangers is all about coping with demands.
“That’s why Liverpool will be so pleased to let him play up here for a season as this will be a critical part of his development.”
Ferguson added: “We’ll just need to wait and see how he handles these demands but the first impression was that he can be a really big player for Rangers this season.”

Important player
Ojo is a very talented and promising young winger who can only get better in the coming years.
Rangers need a player like him who is dynamic and has pace and tricks, and the Gers are a better team with the former England Under-21 international in it.
With Ojo in the team, the Ibrox faithful will feel confident of challenging bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title last season.
Rangers push the Hoops hard during the first half of last season, and the Gers will hope to maintain their challenge throughout the campaign in 2019-20.
