Glasgow Rangers fans will be pleased if Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney joins Arsenal, says former Ibrox star Barry Ferguson.

The former Rangers midfielder has also suggested that Celtic cannot turn down the £25 million that Arsenal are reportedly offering for Scotland international left-back Tierney in the summer transfer window.
According to BBC Sport, Arsenal are interested in signing the 22-year-old defender from the Hoops this summer.
The report has also claimed the Gunners have failed with two bids, the second over £25m.
Ferguson said on PLZ Soccer: “When £25m comes calling, I think Celtic really need to take it, but I am sure there will be a lot of Rangers supporters happy that one of Celtic’s major players is going to be going.”

Potential blow for Celtic
Tierney is one of the best and most promising young left-backs in Europe, and Arsenal would be signing a potential superstar if they are able to land the 22-year-old.
While £25m is a lot of money, it will be a massive blow for the Hoops if they lose Tierney, as they will struggle to find a replacement who is as good as the Scotland international.
The potential departure of Tierney will enhance Rangers’ chances of stopping Celtic from winning the Scottish Premiership title this season.
