Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are reportedly set to appoint Barry Ferguson as their first-team coach, according to reports.

According to the Scottish Sun, Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are on the verge of appointing Barry Ferguson as a first-team coach.
Pedro Caixinha has met with Ferguson, and reportedly has been impressed by the former Rangers player.
Ferguson is now on the verge of taking a job with the Light Blues, as Rangers look to remodel their coaching team.
Rangers parted company with their former boss Mark Warburton earlier this year, and they are now looking to change their tactical set-up.
However, it may be that Ferguson looks to keep some things similar to Warburton, judging by his past comments.
Ferguson suggested that Warburton’s tactics were perfect for Lee Wallace and James Tavernier.
“Wallace and Tavernier have been machines for Rangers over the last 12 months,” he said to the Daily Record, back at the start of the season.
“The style of play Mark Warburton has introduced suits them down to a tee and that’s exactly the way I’d want them to operate in my team too.”
Wallace and Tavernier have continued to be key players for Rangers this season, and have featured regularly at full-back for the Ibrox side.
Caixinha started both of them in his first match in charge, which resulted as a 4-0 win against Hamilton.
If Ferguson is appointed in the near future, he could in place for Rangers’ next match – which comes against Motherwell in two weekends’ time.
