Barry Douglas has taken to Instagram to share a three-word reaction to seeing Gaetano Berardi return to training for Leeds.
The Switzerland international has finally returned to training at Thorp Arch following a lengthy spell out with a serious knee issue.
Berardi damaged his anterior cruciate ligament in a game against Derby towards the end of last season, and has been on the treatment table ever since.
It has robbed him of any involvement in the club’s first season back in the Premier League.
Now, however, he looks ready to get involved.

After seeing footage of the 32-year-old, posted by Leeds on Instagram, Douglas wrote: ‘What a sight @g.berardi28 💪🏽💙’.
Despite currently being out on loan with Blackburn, the Scotland international is clearly still keeping an eye on what’s happening at Elland Road.
His message also goes to show how popular Berardi is in Yorkshire.
The ex-Sampdoria man’s contract actually expired when last season ended.

However, given his popularity at Elland Road, Leeds couldn’t bring themselves to see him become a free agent and not be able to find a new club due to his injury.
As a result, he was offered a 12-month extension while he recovers, which was quite simply a fantastic gesture from the club.
