Adam Forshaw is finally back from injury, and as you can imagine, his return has elicited a response from his teammates on social media.
Indeed, it’s been a long and emotional journey for Forshaw to get back to this point, and while a lot has changed at Elland Road while he’s been out, his teammates haven’t forgotten about him.
Luke Ayling posted a tweet in tribute to the long-term absentee on social media after seeing him back in action.
It’s great to see Leeds players so pleased for Forshaw, and to be honest, every Leeds supporter should share the same sentiment.
Heart-warmingly, it wasn’t just current Leeds players tweeting about his return. Indeed, Barry Douglas took to social media to respond to an official tweet from the club sharing images of Forshaw back in action.
We can’t help but echo Douglas’ sentiment, it is fantastic to see Forshaw back in action, and we can only hope that he’s back in the first-team sooner rather than later.
