Leeds defender apologises for poor form.

Barry Douglas of Leeds United looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Leeds United and Middlesbrough at Elland Road on August 31, 2018 in Leeds, England.

Leeds United left-back Barry Douglas has said he has let the team down with his recent performances.

The defender’s form has certainly been mixed, and against Nottingham Forest he was part of a defence which conceded four goals.

Leeds have seen their lead at the top of the table cut to just two points.

Douglas addressed his performance via Twitter. He also thanked fans for getting behind the team.

The festive period is always challenging for players and squads as a whole and Leeds’ results have been mixed.
