Leeds United beat Norwich City 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United continued their remarkable start to the season under Marcelo Bielsa as they thrashed Norwich City 3-0 at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.
The Whites twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw away at Swansea City in midweek, and were back to winning ways as they made the trip to East Anglia this weekend.
In-form midfielder Mateusz Klich opened the scoring, pouncing to score from inside the area after Ezgjan Alioski’s header had been saved, though Alioski did get on the scoresheet himself, finishing off a stunning passing move to make it 2-0.
Pablo Hernandez then made it 3-0 to wrap up all three points for Leeds, who returned to the top of the Championship table with their victory as they continue to set the pace under Bielsa.
Leeds are dazzling their opponents under Bielsa, leaving fans dreaming of a return to the Premier League under the Argentinian – and players took to Twitter after the final whistle to celebrate.
Liam Cooper – sidelined for Saturday’s game through injury – praised his teammates for a superb result, whilst Luke Ayling suggested that the performance was ‘different class’ from Leeds, as it’s always difficult to go away to Norwich and get a result.
Barry Douglas praised the response from drawing at Swansea, hailing to ‘fantastic’ travelling support, with fellow new boy Patrick Bamford adding his praise for supporters too, noting that it was the perfect way to end a difficult week of fixtures.
