Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan is annoyed that he has not scored a single international goal for Scotland.

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has told The Scottish Sun that he is annoyed that he has yet to score for Scotland.
The 26-year-old former Aston Villa player has featured in 22 international matches for Scotland so far in his career, but he has yet to score.
The midfielder has admitted that he finds it annoying that he has not yet scored for his country.

Bannan has stated that he wants to score for Scotland, and that it would be special for him to do so.
“That annoys me a little bit,” Bannan told The Scottish Sun about his lack of goals for Scotland. “It’s weird because when I was growing up I’d score all the time. I was more of an attacking player back then, but I don’t know why I haven’t scored.
“I might see that Superior Striker guy that’s on Instagram to try and get a few tips! I’d like to score a lot more goals and getting one for Scotland would be special. That’s something I’d love.”

Bannan is one of the best players in the Championship and is a key figure in the Wednesday team.
The former Crystal Palace midfielder has scored one goal and created 22 chances in 10 league appearances for the Owls so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the 26-year-old scored two goals and created 59 chances in 38 Championship games.
Wednesday are ninth in the Championship table at the moment with 17 points from 11 matches, just three points behind Birmingham City, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
