Sheffield Wednesday won against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in the Carabao Cup on Thursday.

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the win against Sunderland on Thursday evening.
Championship club Wednesday got the better of League One side Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The Owls took the lead just before the half-hour mark through Marco Matias, and they doubled the advantage on 79 minutes when Adam Reach found the net.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Stadium of Light on Thursday evening, visitors Wednesday had 45% of the possession, took nine shots of which six were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
The win against Sunderland means that Wednesday will face Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
Wednesday midfielder Bannan has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the win for the Owls.
The 28-year-old former Aston Villa and Crystal Palace midfielder started the match and played for 86 minutes.
