Reports have suggested that Rangers boss Mark Warburton could let the winger leave Ibrox at the right price.
Rangers defender Danny Wilson is not afraid of wing-wizard Barrie McKay’s form being impacted by rumours of leaving the club, with strong interest reported from Bundesliga high-flyers RB Leipzig.
Rangers boss Mark Warburton is reportedly open to the sale of McKay, should the money raised from his sale go toward recruiting new players for the first-team at Ibrox.
The Daily Record is reporting the Scotland international as wanted by the German side, who are willing to pay around £6 million to get hold of the player and that the Rangers head coach may have to sell the player at that price – considering the financial situation at Rangers.

But Wilson feels McKay will not be concerning himself with the transfer rumours. He told the Daily Mail:
“Yes, there has been speculation, but he will just get on with it.
“It didn’t affect him at all on Saturday against Motherwell. Other than Kenny Miller’s goals, Barrie was the outstanding player on the park. If he can keep doing that, he will be fine.”
He did however stop short of advising the talent on what to do next, insisting that was down to McKay:
“I wouldn’t give Barrie any advice because I think everyone’s situation is completely different.
“Quite a lot of the time, you see young players linked with moves.
“It’s Barrie’s (business). He’s contracted here for another year-and-a-half and I am sure he will just carry on doing what he does.”

Fans at Ibrox have been treated to a resurgence of form from McKay recently, who was off the boil at the start of the campaign.
Rangers know that they need to keep their best players in Glasgow, but that a big fee may force a sale as they continue to need financial boosts to improve the team.
So whilst McKay might not let his form drop because of the German interest, there will be a fear his Ibrox exit is a matter of when and not if.
