Leeds United lost 3-2 at Barnsley on Saturday evening.
Leeds United manager Garry Monk has taken to Twitter after his side were beaten 3-2 at Barnsley on Saturday afternoon, with coach James Beattie also joining in with his reaction on social media.
The Whites made the short trip to Oakwell having beaten Derby County last weekend, and Garry Monk’s men were hoping to continue their fine form with another victory.

Leeds went in front in the first half as Chris Wood turned Pablo Hernandez’s corner into the net, before Tom Bradshaw headed the Tykes level before the break.
Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent then smashed home a superb drive to put Barnsley in front, and Conor Hourihane made it 3-1 by whipping a superb long-range free kick into the top corner of the net.

Leeds were handed a late penalty when Marc Roberts was penalised for handball, and Chris Wood stepped up to score, but Leeds couldn’t find the equaliser and went back to Elland Road empty-handed.
It was a disappointing result for Leeds, who have lost ground on the top – Brighton and Newcastle United – after they both claimed victories this weekend, and the attention will already be turning towards Wednesday’s clash with Nottingham Forest.
After Saturday’s defeat, manager Monk took to Twitter to send a message to fans, admitting that Leeds didn’t perform quite as well as they usually do, but he’s already hoping to bounce back immediately.
Coach James Beattie also sent a message on Twitter, suggesting that Leeds will keep the same focus and look to hit back with a win on Wednesday at Elland Road.
