The City Ground will play host to the Reds of Sabri Lamouchi and Daniel Stendel’s Tykes.

Ahead of their Championship clash with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, Barnsley coach Chris Stern has spoken highly of the Reds, describing them as a “proper” Championship club (official Barnsley website).
The Tykes will be heading to Bridgford desperate for points as they currently sit in the bottom three of the table with just one win to their name this term, but will be locking horns with a side in a great run of form.
Forest’s last game saw them claim an impressive 1-0 win away at high-flying Swansea City and they’re back on home soil with their unbeaten run across all competitions extended to eight games.
“They are statement team,” Stern told the Barnsley media team of Sabri Lamouchi’s side on Thursday. “They are a proper Championship club that have had some great results recently.

“They beat Swansea 1-0 last weekend, so it’s going to hard for us to travel to Nottingham, but we are confident in our own ourselves. They are on a good run; however, we want to win again, and we are looking forward to a good game.”
According to Seat Pitch, Forest ace Joe Lolley, who was left out of the starting XI against the Swans at the Liberty Stadium, is likely to come back in, while Jack Robinson will also be eyeing up a recall.
With regards to Barnsley, Ben Williams is serving a three-match ban for the Tykes, while Kenneth Dougall, Bambo Diaby and Samuel Radlinger are amongst those recovering from knocks.
