The Burnley striker has produced some impressive performances of late.

Burnley have received much praise for the results that they have attained so far this season and it will be intriguing to see whether Sean Dyche’s side can continue to perform so effectively in the remainder of the campaign.
One player who could have a very important part to play in proceedings is Ashley Barnes, with the forward having produced some encouraging performances of late.

The hard-working forward found the net with an impressive strike in the FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester City last weekend and has scored three goals in his last ten Premier League appearances.
Barnes may not be the most prolific of players but he fits in well with Dyche’s philosophy and can be a useful asset in the months to come.

In addition to playing up front, Barnes is also capable of operating as a secondary striker or on the left flank and has proven himself to be a very useful member of the squad.
If Burnley are to succeed in finishing in the top half of the table then Barnes could well make a significant contribution.
