Rangers winger Grant Nelson looks set to leave Ibrox.

Rangers midfielder Jamie Barjonas has suggested that teenage winger Grant Nelson is set to leave Ibrox this summer, by bidding farewell to the youngster on Instagram.
Nelson, 19, has been with Rangers since he was a schoolboy and was a prominent member of Billy Kirkwood’s Under-23 side. However, the signing of Glenn Middleton limited his chances to shine.

Indeed, Nelson has seemingly failed to earn a new deal despite returning to action following an 18-month absence last April, joining the likes of Jordan Thompson who will leave at the end of his contract.
Under-23 teammate Barjonas suggested that the winger has left Ibrox after posting a picture of the duo on Instagram, captioning the image with “will be missed Granty boy”.

Nelson failed to make a single appearance for the senior Rangers side despite the club’s faith in their youth system, which has seen Barjonas, Ross McCrorie, Ryan Hardie, Myles Beerman, David Bates and more make the step up.
But with the former of Player of the Season Daniel Candeias and new permanent signing Jamie Murphy out wide, it was always going to be a tall order for Nelson to stake his claim.
Now, Nelson looks set to leave the club this summer as manager Steven Gerrard begins work on Friday.
