Some Aston Villa fans are over the moon as the details of Morgan Sanson’s transfer fee have emerged in a report by France Football.

Villa have structured this deal in a very clever way, paying just €11m (£9.7m) up front, with an extra €4m (£3.5m) due in the summer.

There is also a clause that could see Villa pay an extra €3m (£2.7m) depending on European qualification and Sanson’s performances.

All in all, Villa could end up paying €19m (£16.7m) for Sanson, and it seems as though Villa fans believe this to be a bargain.

The supporters were very impressed by the club’s ability to negotiate such a deal for Sanson, and they came out in their droves to praise Johan Lange and the club’s transfer strategy.

Whether or not Sanson proves to be a bargain or not remains to be seen. After all, he’s only appeared once for the club, and its’ tough to judge whether or not he’ll be a success based on just one performance.

Regardless, Villa fans were buzzing with the details of this deal, and here’s what they’ve been saying on social media…
