Some Manchester City fans on social media have been reacting after The Telegraph reported they’ve made a record-breaking £100m bid for Jack Grealish.
The Aston Villa ace could be on the move this summer for a British record fee, and if this is report is to be believed, the Etihad could be his destination.
As you can imagine, this reported bid sparked a reaction amongst the City fanbase, and it’s fair to say they’re excited.
Why wouldn’t City fans be excited? They’re in for one of the best creative footballers in the world, and despite the fact they could pay a nine-figure fee, some fans still believe this to be a bargain.
Indeed, one fan even called this the bargain of the decade, and while that may have been something of a tongue-in-cheek comment, it just goes to show how highly-rated Grealish is.
Whether or not Grealish joins City remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure – if he does sign it would certainly be a popular move amongst the City fanbase.
