Leeds United fans want Pierre-Michel Lasogga to sign permanently.
Leeds United were linked with a late deadline move for Preston forward Jordan Hugill last month before the striker signed for West Ham.
Hugill joined the Hammers for £8 million, and Leeds were reluctant to spend this amount on him, with managing director Angus Kinnear suggesting he was ‘not significantly better’ than the players the Whites have.
Leeds current first choice forward is German striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who is on loan from Hamburg.
Fans are calling on Leeds to tie up a deal to sign Lasogga permanently, and it’s fair to see why as his goalscoring record holds up very well compared to Hugill.

Lasogga played in eight fewer matches than Hugill this season and has scored the same number of goals.
He has a slightly better shot conversion rate, has more shots per game, and has managed more shots on target, while also providing two more assists.
Hugill was judged by a Premier League side to be worth £8 million, and Leeds were right to step back from this battle.
More poignantly it is encouraging that Lasogga is performing so competitively despite Leeds’ current struggles for form.
If Leeds can sign Lasogga for less than half the fee Hugill went for, it could prove to be a real bargain.
