Some Liverpool fans on social media are stunned by Loris Karius’ physical transformation after his latest Instagram upload.
Karius has certainly packed on a lot of muscle over the past 12 months, and he now looks absolutely ripped.
Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a former Liverpool player go through a change in physique after images of Fernando Torres emerged earlier this year, but Karius certainly gives him a run for his money.
It’s easy to forget that Karius is still on the books at Liverpool, spending this season out on loan, and while he hasn’t managed to get on the pitch much for Union Berlin, he’s certainly been spending a lot of time in the gym.
Whether or not his increased size and strength makes him a better goalkeeper remains to be seen, but it’s hard to imagine that he’ll be getting another chance at Liverpool.
