Everton should consider a move for the Barcelona man this summer.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman will be targeting some forwards with genuine quality this summer, with Romelu Lukaku’s future at Goodison Park growing ever more uncertain with every week that passes.
With this in mind, the Dutchman should consider a bold move for Barcelona’s Paco Alcacer, who has really struggled since making the switch from Valencia to the Nou Camp in the summer of 2016.
However, it could be argued that he hasn’t really been given a proper opportunity to impress, although it is little wonder considering the three superstars who currently occupy the forward positions in the Barca team.

The 23-year-old Spaniard is at an age now where regular first-team action will be of paramount importance to his development as a player, and he is unlikely to get that with the La Liga giants.
A move to Goodison Park could see Alcacer fulfil his potential, and the fluent passing style system favoured by Koeman should suit the diminutive forward.
What he lacks in both height and frame, he more than makes up for with his technical ability, and his intelligent playing style would offer Everton a different dimension in forward areas, with or without Lukaku.
The former Valencia star is accomplished at leading the line on his own, but is equally as effective when deployed anywhere along the front-line.

His versatility would enable Koeman to play with more tactical variety in forward areas, and give the Dutchman the option of making in-game changes without having to call upon a substitute.
Alcacer’s contract with Barcelona still has four years left to run, however, and the Catalonians will surely be looking to recoup at least the €30 million (£27 million) that they paid for him this time last year.
The Blues would surely be able to meet that kind of valuation with ease though, what with their new-found financial power following Farhad Moshiri’s partial takeover in February, and the windfall they will be expecting to receive if and when Lukaku leaves the club.
