Bryan Gil received a huge moment today, as the Eibar loanee picked up his first call-up to the senior Spain squad.
The Sevilla man was spotted at training today in tears having learned the news, with his season continuing to go from strength to strength.
Gil, 20, has impressed on loan at Eibar this term with three goals and three assists in 21 games, playing predominantly as a left-sided winger.
He can also play on the right or as a number 10, and Gil could soon make his Spain debut, with a summer move far from out of the question.
Mundo Deportivo report that Arsenal are keen to sign Gil this summer, with a €35million (£30million) release clause in his contract.
Now though, Cuatro in Spain report that new Barcelona president Joan Laporta is ‘in love’ with Gil and wants to take him to the Camp Nou this summer.

That’s a major threat to Arsenal’s hopes of a deal, but whether Barcelona can afford that kind of price remains to be seen.
Additionally, Gil should only really be an Arsenal target if Martin Odegaard doesn’t return next season, so the coming months will be very telling for the Spanish youngster as he makes stride at Eibar.
