Barcelona’s Aleix Vidal has allegedly been touted for a move to Liverpool.

According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the agent of Barcelona ace Aleix Vidal has offered his client to Liverpool – even though Barcelona won’t sell for anything less than a staggering £45m.
The Reds have been busy putting their squad together for next season, as manager Jurgen Klopp has already secured the signature of goalkeeper Loris Karius, defender Joel Matip and midfielder Marko Grujic – but more additions will be needed.

Fans will want to see a left back brought in, but the club are surprisingly being linked with a move for a right back, with Spanish press suggesting a Barcelona player was offered to Klopp and the Reds.
Mundo Deportivo report that the agent of Barcelona’s Aleix Vidal has offered the right back to Liverpool, even though Barcelona are looking for a staggering £45m for him.

Vidal, 26, was an impressive winger at Sevilla before switching to play at right back, and Barcelona swooped to land the Catalunya-born star last summer, even though he could only start playing for the club in January 2016 due to Barcelona’s transfer restrictions.
Now, having started just nine games for Barcelona, Vidal’s agent is believed to be trying to engineer a move away from the Camp Nou, despite manager Luis Enrique wanting to keep him at the club, hence the £45m asking price in a bizarre situation.

Given that Liverpool already have a steady right back in Nathaniel Clyne, paying huge money for another right back would be a huge mistake from Klopp, and it seems that Liverpool have little interest in such a deal anyway.
Vidal’s versatility to play as a winger may be appealing, but with so many other talented players in attacking midfield roles, like Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and James Milner, he may not even get much football there either, so this alleged offer from the agent appears to be a non-starter.
