Barcelona want to sign Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot from Juventus in the January transfer window and are willing to send former Gunners right-back Hector Bellerin to the Serie A club, according to CMW.

Reported Arsenal-linked Adrien Rabiot – Hector Bellerin swap

Italian news outlet CMW have claimed that Barcelona want to sign France international midfielder Rabiot, who is out of contract at Juventus at the end of the season and is on the radar of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur as well.

The former La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners are reportedly willing to send ex-Arsenal right-back Bellerin to Juve in a swap deal.

However, Juventus do not want to sign Bellerin, according to the report.

Encouraging for the Gunners?

Juventus’s stance on a potential swap deal involving Rabiot and Bellerin will be encouraging for Arsenal.

That’s because it means that Arsenal could be able to sign the 27-year-old, who starred for France at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, in the January transfer window.

The Times reported month that Rabiot’s agent and mother has offered the midfielder to Arsenal and Tottenham.

Tottenham are reportedly planning to bid for the midfielder, having been told by Juventus to pay £13.5 million for him.

90min reported this month that Arsenal are among the clubs who want to sign Rabiot.

Now, if Juventus do not want a swap deal involving Bellerin and are willing to sell Rabiot for cash in the middle of the season, then Arsenal do have a chance of bringing the former Paris Saint-Germain star to the Emirates Stadium in January.
