Memphis Depay reportedly has an offer from Tottenham ahead of the January transfer window, with the attacker eager to leave FC Barcelona next month.
According to Sport via Sport Witness, the Netherlands international has a proposal from the north London club to sign for Antonio Conte’s side in January, with Depay set to leave Barcelona with the attacker having just six months remaining on his current deal.
As per the report, Tottenham are far from alone in their interest in Depay, with AS Roma, Manchester United and Juventus also keeping tabs on the former Olympique Lyonnais star, with Sport further reporting that Galatasaray are willing to meet Barcelona’s terms for the striker.
Depay was impressive for Holland at the 2022 FIFA World Cup as the attacker firmly put himself in the shop window for the winter market, and with Tottenham already putting in an offer for the 28-year-old superstar, the north London side are well positioned to sign the forward.

Despite an abundance of options, Conte is keen to bring in another attacker next month as Tottenham look to nail down their UEFA Champions League spot in the Premier League standings. However, other offers could be more appealing for Depay in January.
Indeed, there’s no guarantees that the striker will be a regular for Tottenham with Harry Kane, Richarlison and Heung-min Son already in the squad, meaning that Depay could favour a move to another club where first-team football will be a weekly occurrence for the Dutch sensation.
Depay must leave Barcelona for club where he will be a regular

Depay is one of Europe’s most underrated attackers, with the striker in an unfortunate position where Barcelona have too many world-class forwards for the Dutch star to make any sort of impact, which is why the Tottenham target must leave for a club where he will be a regular.
After all, Depay is hitting the prime of his career, and the striker is at the stage where he should be leading a team rather than being used as a backup to a bigger name, which is exactly what will happen should the forward sign for Tottenham in January.
