Barcelona reportedly hold no interest whatsoever in signing Jonas Hector, who has been linked to Premier League sides.

According to reports from the Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are not keen on signing German international Jonas Hector this summer.
Jonas Hector has been one of the most consistent full backs in Europe over the past few years and the defender’s fine performances for the German national team during the 2016 European Championship has led to a surge in interest in the defender’s services.

Recently, the Bild had claimed that Tottenham Hotspur were keen on securing the services of Hector but the Premier League outfit were expected to face competition from Spanish giants Barcelona for the 26-year-old.
Now as a huge boost to Tottenham’s hopes of signing Hector though, Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo have gone on to claim that Barcelona do not hold any interest in signing the Koln star.

Barcelona have instead signed Paris Saint-Germain left-back Lucas Digne and the report state that the Catalan giants have never discussed the possibility of signing Hector.
The news will come as music to the ears of the Tottenham faithful and it looks like the North London side are currently favourites to land the German international.
Tottenham do possess two quality left backs in the form of Danny Rose and Ben Davies in their squad already but the arrival of a big name like Hector can only be a good thing for Spurs, especially given the fact that they will be competing in the Champions League during the upcoming campaign.
