Barcelona midfielder Rafinha has responded to Rodrigo’s post on Instagram following his move to Leeds United.
Leeds, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship, have signed Rodrigo from Spanish club Valencia.
According to Sky Sports, the Whites have paid Los Che a club-record transfer fee of £27 million to secure the services of the 29-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a striker.
The Spain international has taken to Instagram to express his delight at making the move to Leeds, and Barcelona midfielder Rafinho has responded to his message.
Rafinha responded: “Voa irmão”.
When translated from Portuguese, it reads: “Fly brother”.
Good signing for Leeds United?
Rodrigo is a versatile footballer who can operate as a striker or as a winger, and the Spain international has arrived at Elland Road with a strong reputation.
It remains to be seen how Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa plays the Spaniard, as a striker or out wide.
The Elland Road faithful should be excited at the prospect of watching Rodrigo in action, as the Spaniard has pace, tricks and footballing intelligence.
