The Reds ace Trent Alexander-Arnold’s clever corner caught Barca napping and Suarez wasn’t happy with his side.

Luis Suarez has issued a stern rebuke of Barcelona’s defending for Liverpool’s crucial fourth goal in Tuesday night’s Champions League semi-final second leg at Anfield.
The Premier League side were beaten 3-0 at Camp Nou in the first leg, played out a tiring 3-2 win at Newcastle United on Saturday and had key men Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino absent.
Meanwhile, Barcelona were able to rest most of their first team players in their 2-0 loss at Celta Vigo, having wrapped up the La Liga title already, and all things considered, it looked a difficult mission for Liverpool.
However, Jurgen Klopp’s charges put in a performance for the ages and went on to win 4-0 as Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum each bagged a brace to blow Barca away and proceed to the final 4-3 on aggregate.
The fourth goal, netted by Origi following a corner kick, was also noteworthy for the smart build-up, namely Trent Alexander-Arnold walking away from the ball before racing back and swinging it in, the Blaugrana defence caught napping.
The defeat for Barcelona was the second time in two years they have let a three-goal advantage slip going into a Champions League semi-final second leg after losing out to Roma last year.

“For their fourth goal we looked like schoolboys,” former Liverpool player Suarez is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying. “You have to say sorry for the attitude and the things that everyone saw today. We have to start doing some self-criticism.
“We cannot make the same mistake for two years in a row. We are adults and we have to do self-criticism. We entered with an attitude, but then we conceded a goal that is at youth football standard.”
Liverpool’s win makes it the first time since 1986 – when Barcelona knocked out Gothenburg in the European Cup – that a team have recovered a three-goal first-leg deficit to win a semi-final in this competition.
