FC Barcelona are now reportedly willing to listen to offers for Ansu Fati this summer, with Arsenal believed to be interested in signing the Spanish international.

According to Sport, the 20-year-old winger is one of three first-team regulars that Barcelona could now sell if the right offer comes in, with Fati’s future growing more uncertain by the week amid a growing rift between the forward and his boyhood club.

As per the report, teams are already lining up to sign Fati, with Manchester United one of the early favourites for the winger’s signature as Barcelona look to raise money via the transfer market to quell their tier financial situation, with Sport reporting that Fati could be worth £50m alone.

The same publication also claim that Arsenal are interested in the La Masia graduate, with Mikel Arteta’s side set for another huge summer as the Gunners prepare to return to the UEFA Champions League after six years away from Europe’s elite club competition.

Indeed, signing Fati would be an incredible power move from the north London side, a player lauded by Spanish football expert Terry Gibson as ‘exceptional’. And even Arsenal signing attacking cover in January in the form of Leandro Trossard, the Barcelona man could be a great addition.

As we know, Fati is one of the best youngsters in world football, and with Arteta building his Arsenal squad around the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba, adding another wonderkid to the mix will be very exciting for fans of the north London club.

Arteta has proven already to be an ideal manager for young players to develop their game under, with numerous Arsenal talents taking their careers to the next step under the 41-year-old even after such a short space of time. And for Fati, the Barcelona man could thrive under the Basque coach in England.

Whilst competition for a place might be hard given how good Martinelli and Saka have become, Fati’s sheer potential makes the Spaniard an incredible squad option to have for Arsenal, with the winger an ideal signing for the Gunners ahead of their return to the Champions League.
