Barcelona have made a bid to Leeds United to sign reported Liverpool target Raphinha in the summer transfer window, according to Sport.

Sport are reporting this morning that Barcelona have offered Leeds €35 million (£29.22 million) as transfer fee for Raphinha, who has been linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool as well.

The Brazil international winger has reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona over a five-year contract.

Barcelona officials Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff are determined to reach an agreement with Leeds over the transfer of the 25-year-old in the coming weeks.

UOL reported only this week that Liverpool are among the clubs who have taken the first ‘concrete’ steps to sign the Rennes star, who earns £63,000 per week as salary (SalarySport).

Liverpool to miss out on Raphinha to Barcelona?

In our opinion, based on the report in Sport, it does appear that Liverpool could miss out on Raphinha to Barcelona.

After all, the Brazilian has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Spanish and European giants.

Now, of course, Leeds may want more than what Barcelona are offering to them, and Liverpool could be able to pay more.

However, if Raphinha is keen on a move to Barcelona and work under Xavi, then Liverpool would have to work extremely hard to convince him to come to Anfield.
