According to ESport3, West Ham are in negotiations with Barca for the Portuguese midfielder.
Gomes has struggled since making the move to the Nou Camp, and West Ham reportedly want to provide him with a platform to prove his quality once again.
And Barcelona fans are certainly happy to see Gomes make the move to the London Stadium.
West Ham have already been highly active in the transfer window so far, but Manuel Pellegrini does appear to have a new central midfielder still on his wishlist.
Gomes is the latest in a long list of midfielders to be linked with the Hammers in recent times.
Despite his poor spell with Barca, Gomes has previously proven his quality.
The Portuguese international was a standout player for Valencia and would arrive at West Ham with a point to prove.
