Barcelona are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur January transfer target Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to Sport.

Spanish publication Sport have reported that Barcelona are working on a deal to sign Traore from Wolves if Ousmane Dembele does not renew his contract.

The La Liga giants have already reportedly moved for the 25-year-old winger, who is also wanted by Tottenham in the January transfer window.

The report has claimed that Barcelona have a good relationship with Wolves, and that Adama Traore himself is in touch with a number of the players at the Blaugrana, such as Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Sergi Roberto and Ferran Torres.

Sport have added that Traore himself is open to a move to Barcelona, but they have noted that Tottenham have made contact with his entourage and could offer a lot of money.

Barcelona or Tottenham Hotspur for Adama Traore?

In our view, it is going to be tough for Traore to decide between Tottenham and Barcelona, if indeed both clubs make offers for him.

Both Tottenham and Barcelona are massive clubs and are very ambitious.

Adama Traore came through the ranks at Barcelona, but the winger could not make an impact in the first team at Camp Nou.

Could the Spain international winger be tempted by a move back to Barcelona?

Tottenham are going places under head coach Antonio Conte, who wants to play Traore as a right wing-back.

Could the chance to work under the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss prove too tempting to resist?
