Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Derby County at the weekend.

Wednesday maintained their good run of form with a 2-1 victory over Derby at home in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless draw at the Hillsborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Darren Bent put the Rams in the lead just three minutes into the second half.

Steven Fletcher restored parity for Wednesday on 58 minutes, and Gary Hooper put the Owls in the lead on 64 minutes.

Bannan, who is 27 years of age, has taken to Twitter to revel in Wednesday’s win against Derby at the weekend.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Hillsborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hosts Wednesday had 51% of the possession, took 13 shots of which two were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.

The Owls are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 78 points from 44 matches, five points above seventh-placed Leeds United.
