Manchester City can win the Premier League title this weekend, can their stars win you your mini-leagues?
Would you bet against Manchester City winning the league? QPR have been wretched on the road this season and were bashed 6-1 by Chelsea on their last trip.
The end of the season is upon us, and keen fantasy football players will not want to see their hard work go down the drain with one last horrific week.
Being the final week, it can have it’s challenges. Premier League bosses like to rotate, especially if there is little to play for, and give some of their lesser known lights a chance.
Take Michael Owen scoring on the last day against Blackpool for United last season. Manchester United, this time around of course have it all to do, and then a miracle to wish for.
For their part of the bargain, they will have to go to Sunderland and win, no easy task, despite the Black Cats poor form of late.
It’s possible to see United keep a clean sheet here, but Sunderland might just frustrate them too.
We predict Manchester City will win the league with ease, and bank on their Argentine strike duo Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez to do the damage.
If an early goal comes, then it could be party time for City, and players including Yaya Toure, David Silva, Vincent Kompany and Gael Clichy are all potential big scorers.
Outside of the title race, the next big event is Arsenal attempting to clinch third place away to West Brom- but it won’t be easy.
Arsenal would hate to fall apart at such an important time, but we’re sorry to say the only player they can rely on is Robin van Persie.
Expect Tottenham to hold up their end of the bargain, at home to Fulham, and as always Rafael van der Vaart will be the key man, and Emmanuel Adebayor will want to sign off with a goal.
Chelsea will have a lot of making up to do in front of their fans for their midweek showing, when they host relegated Blackburn Rovers. This could be another goal glut, and this time expect Juan Mata and Frank Lampard to get in on the act ahead of the Champions League Final.
Outside of that our eyes turn to the relegation battle, and the side who most need a result- Bolton Wanderers. Stoke’s form has been really mixed of late, and we see Bolton scoring, it’s just a question of whether their defence can hold out.
Kevin Davies would fit perfectly into Stoke’s side, and he will be well up for one last hurrah, and can be a surprise source of points.
