Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after seeing an image of Steven Bergwijn during the Netherlands’ game against Turkey.

The Dutch outfit hammered Turkey on Tuesday evening, but there were concerning scenes on the bench as Bergwijn looked to be struggling.

Indeed, the winger was pictured with heavy strapping and what looks like an ice pack on his ankle, implying that he has picked up a knock and he was looking to reduce swelling.

Spurs have had next to no luck during this international break when it comes to injuries and other issues.

Their South American contingent had problems with their travel, while Heung-Min Son and Oliver Skipp have also picked up injury issues.

There’s no official word on Bergwijn’s fitness or whether or not this injury is serious, but the picture that has been doing the rounds certainly doesn’t paint a pretty picture.

Here’s what Tottenham fans have been saying on social media…
