Liverpool fans were left furious with Tottenham attacker Erik Lamela.

Liverpool fans are calling for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Erik Lamela to cop a ban from the FA for diving.
Lamela went down in injury time inside the Liverpool penalty area under challenge from Virgil van Dijk and a spot-kick was given which allowed Spurs to level the game at 2-2.
Replays showed that Van Dijk barely touched Lamela, and fans are hoping the FA’s new retrospective diving rules could come into play.

So far this season Everton forward Oumar Niasse and West Ham attacker Manuel Lanzini have both been given suspensions for diving.
A ban for Lamela would be interesting as it would directly imply their match officials made a mistake in a key game.
Lamela is not the only Spurs player under scrutiny from Reds fans, with some going a step further and calling for Harry Kane to be investigated for his part in winning an earlier penalty, which he went onto miss. He made no mistake the second time.
During the game Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli was given a yellow card for diving.
Reds supporters were furious with Lamela in particular and are demanding the FA take action.
