Patrick Bamford has told BBC West Yorkshire Spot that Leeds United’s players sent out a message of unity in the dressing room after yesterday’s defeat.
Leeds may have lost 6-2 against Manchester United, after putting in a disappointing performance at Old Trafford.
However, Bamford insists that Leeds players were determined to stick together at full-time.
He said: “Everyone is frustrated and disappointed but we’ve got to stick together.
“That is one of the things that the captains of the group have come in and said, that we can’t play like that but we stick together, we don’t blame anyone or single people out.
“It’s a team game and we as a team haven’t performed and we have to take that as a team.
“It’s difficult to go back in there and look at everyone knowing that we’ve not performed to the level that we should.”
Leeds just never seemed to get to grips with Manchester United’s attacking prowess throughout the contest, as they slipped to a heavy defeat.

The Red Devils cut them open time after time, and Leeds could have conceded even more goals if it wasn’t for a strong display from Illan Meslier.
Leeds did have chances of their own, but the performance will surely rank as one of their worst since promotion as the occasion, perhaps, got the better of them.
Leeds are still in a relatively strong position despite the defeat, as they have claimed 17 points from their opening 14 games.
