Patrick Bamford has told the Leeds United podcast that Helder Costa hasn’t got enough praise for the impact he has made in his side’s last two matches.
Leeds beat Southampton 3-0 at the weekend, with Costa making a big impact off the bench.
The Portuguese winger was introduced at half-time, with the scores locked at 0-0.
But following his arrival Leeds really upped their game, and ran away with the second-half.
The Whites ended up winning comfortable, and Bamford feels that Costa’s performance really helped them pick up the three points.
“I think looking back at it Costa coming on made a massive difference,” Bamford said.
“The last two games he’s been brilliant and he kind of gave us that little bit of extra pace.

“He didn’t get spoken about because Raphinha got all the plaudits, but Costa made a massive difference to us.”
Costa may now actually be pushing for a start, given the quality he has shown from the bench.
The former Wolves man has struggled for opportunities this term, with Jack Harrison generally favoured, but he is beginning to prove his worth again.
Leeds are next in action tomorrow, when they take on Aston Villa.
