Tino Livramento and Thierry Small have claimed that former Tottenham player, Kyle Walker-Peters, is one of the most underrated players they have played with, as they told Rising Ballers.
Whilst Small, 17, is yet to make waves into the Southampton team, both Livramento and Walker-Peters are flying up and down the St Mary’s flanks.
In 2020, the Saints secured the talents of Walker-Peters from Tottenham, after he couldn’t break into their first team – he would walk into it now.
But the 24-year-old, whether it be as a left-back or right-back, he is shining bright in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s ever-progressing side.
Both Small and Livramento were asked about the underrated players they play with and KWP’s name was put forward.
“Kyle Walker-Peters, he can play either side,” said Livramento. “Different waves. He has played centre-mid a few times in training.”
Smalls added: “Yes, Kyle is a baller as well. He can play centre-mid as well.”

When Walker-Peters left Spurs, they only had Serge Aurier on their books before drafting in Matt Doherty from Wolves.
At this current stage, Doherty is now competing with summer signing, Emerson Royal, for a starting spot, with Aurier’s contract being terminated at the start of the season.
Walker-Peters pushes ahead of all those players for a starting spot now and would suit Antonio Conte’s system down to a tee.
Not forgetting that he is also showing his versatility, technical ability and understanding of the game by thriving out on the left also for Southampton.
