Tottenham Hotspur drew 1-1 at Barcelona this evening.

Tottenham Hotspur are into the knockout stages of the Champions League after a 1-1 draw at Barcelona this evening.
Spurs went into the game knowing that they needed a result at the Camp Nou, with third-placed Inter Milan taking on bottom-of-the-group PSV Eindhoven at the San Siro.
Tottenham fell behind early on as Ousmane Dembele raced away from a Kyle Walker-Peters error to put Barca in front, but it looked to be going okay for Spurs as PSV were beating Inter.
However, Mauro Icardi equalised for Inter, meaning Tottenham had to score, and they wasted chance after chance in a stunning second half display, before Lucas Moura finally hit the back of the net for Spurs.
Both games finished 1-1, meaning Spurs advance into the knockout stages of the tournament, having picked up two wins and a draw to recover from a dismal start to their Champions League campaign.
Spurs players and fans were jubilant at the Camp Nou, and Spanish football expert and pundit Guillem Balague has taken to Twitter to share his verdict on Tottenham’s display.

Balague suggested that Spurs deserved more than a 1-1 draw, hailing their performance for their team work, style, personality and belief in what Mauricio Pochettino wanted them to do.
Balague added that it was one of the best displays by a foreign team at the Camp Nou for some time, and also posted a photo of Pochettino coming back out from the changing room to thank Tottenham supporters after the full time whistle.
