Sandro Ramirez was signed by former Everton manager Ronald Koeman in July.

Guillem Balague, Sky Sports journalist talks during day 2 of the Soccerex Global Convention 2016 at Manchester Central Convention Complex on September 27, 2016 in Manchester, England.

Guillem Balague has told Sky Sports there is a possibility that Sandro Ramirez could leave Everton in January.

Sandro moved to Everton earlier this year from Malaga, after the Toffees paid his £5.4 million release clause.

However, the Barcelona product has been unable to replicate the form he showed while at La Rosaleda last season, scoring only once in 13 appearances for his new club.

That has prompted speculation of a swift return to Spain for Sandro, with Malaga and Valencia among those linked with moves in recent weeks.

And according to Balague, a temporary deal could certainly be on the cards this winter.

“I’ve been surprised that Sandro hasn’t made an impact at Everton, we said earlier in the season that he could be a surprise package if he was looked after, played and felt important,” said the Spanish football expert during a Q&A session on Friday. “That hasn’t happened so there is possibility of getting him on loan, not so much to Malaga but Valencia are interested in him as well.”

Everton tried but failed to add to their striking options during the summer transfer window, and could return to market in January – albeit under a new manager in Sam Allardyce.

It remains to be seen whether Allardyce will hand Sandro an opportunity to impress in the coming weeks.
