West Ham United and Chelsea are being tipped to complete a double deal this month.
Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has taken to Twitter to give an update on the situation regarding West Ham United’s pursuit of Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi.
The Belgian international has struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge since arriving in the summer and with the Hammers desperate for additional fire power he would go down a storm at the London Stadium.
The latest from Balague, which he was quick to state was not yet confirmed and was merely ongoing negotiations, should excite West Ham fans regardless.

Writing on Twitter on Tuesday morning, the Spaniard said, “This is being worked on, not confirmed! Batshuayi to West Ham, (Michail) Antonio could move to CFC.”
Balague went on to say that Swansea City’s Fernando Llorente could also be heading to the Blues – as has been widely reported – with Leicester city forward Leonardo Ulloa replacing him at the Liberty Stadium.

It remains to be seen if all these deals are ultimately done but there is no doubt if West Ham bring Batshuayi to the club it would be a superb piece of business.
The 23-year-old is wonderful striker when allowed to play week in, week out, and he is exactly what the Hammers need as they bid to move further up the table in the weeks and months ahead.
