Spanish pundit says Real Madrid midfielder is unlikely to join Liverpool.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has dismissed claims Dani Ceballos could join Liverpool.
Diario Gol had claimed Liverpool are keen on Ceballos, with the Daily Express repeating these reports yesterday, stating a deal could be ‘close’.
Balague says these reports are wide of the mark, with neither Real Madrid or Liverpool keen on a deal.
Real signed Ceballos for a bargain £14.5 million this summer from Real Betis, but he has struggled to make an impact for Zinedine Zidane’s out of form Madrid side.
Ceballos is a Spain under-21 international and bright prospect for the future, and it would surely be a mistake for Real to give up on him so early.

He has made only two La Liga starts and made four further substitute appearances, although has managed to score twice.
It would make sense if Liverpool were interested in him, and Balague’s claim that they are not, may simply be a realisation that Real are unwilling to sell.
