Crystal Palace star Bakary Sako has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his admiration of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang was the star of the show for Borussia Dortmund against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening.

The 26-year-old Gabon international, who can play as a striker or as a winger, scored both goals as Dortmund won the second leg of the Europa League last-16 tie 2-1.

The result means that the Bundesliga outfit have progressed to the quarter-finals of the prestigious European competition 5-1 on aggregate.

Sako, who played with Aubameyang at French club Saint-Etienne, was impressed with his former teammate’s performance, while ex-West Ham United winger Trevor Sinclair praised Dortmund’s style of play.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at White Hart Lane on Thursday evening, Aubameyang took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 69%, created one chance, put in three crosses, attempted one dribble, and made one block.
