West Bromwich Albion have snapped up winger Bakary Sako.

Bakary Sako joined West Bromwich Albion today – and has told the club’s official website of how he rejected interest from Premier League clubs to join the Baggies.
West Brom’s attack is already firing on all cylinders, as they boast the Championship’s best attack, which has sent them to the top of the table.
Wingers Harvey Barnes and Matt Phillips, as well as strikers Dwight Gayle and Jay Rodriguez, have thrived, but boss Darren Moore has still been looking for one more addition.
West Brom took winger Sako on trial last week as they laid the groundwork for a potential deal, and they put that through today by signing him on a free transfer.
Sako – formerly of West Brom’s bitter rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers – has penned a deal until the end of the season with the Baggies, and represents a stunning signing for Moore at this stage in the season.
The 30-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Crystal Palace over the summer, and the Mali international now provides Moore with yet another attacking talent to aid the club’s promotion bid.

Now, Sako has spoken to the club’s official website about his move, and revealed something that West Brom fans should love, having claimed that he snubbed interest from Premier League clubs in order to sign for West Brom instead, making his decision after meeting Moore and being drawn to the Baggies boss.
“He played a big part,” said Sako. “A lot of Premier League clubs wanted me but as soon as I knew Darren wanted to see me I went to see him straight away and we clicked. The way he manages players, the way he talks, he’s passionate and I love that, that’s why I came here,” he added.
